Dedicated Circuits
A dedicated electrical circuit has power and ground wires that are designed for use by single larger appliances. The purpose of dedicated circuits is to keep a very stable, well-regulated supply voltage going for electrical appliances to run correctly. Typical uses include computers, washers/dryers, refrigerators, garage doors, air conditioners, even your family fish tank. Otherwise, appliances may pull more current than the circuit can handle, resulting in overheated wires, melted insulation, and potential electrical fires.
