A 100 or 150-amp panel was plenty for an Atglen house in 1992. Then the loads changed. A heat pump wants a large two-pole breaker. A hot tub needs its own 50-amp circuit. A Level 2 EV charger takes another. Add two of those and the panel is full.
So we start with a load calculation. If the numbers fit, we add the dedicated circuit and stop there. If not, we quote a 200-amp panel upgrade with the circuit, in writing, so you decide once.
The same crew covers Sadsburyville, Wagontown and Coatesville. And since Ida's remnants flooded parts of Chester County in September 2021, we check any panel that sat in water.
