Every electrician we send to Carlisle, Camp Hill or Shippensburg is a direct employee of Thomas Edison Electric, not a subcontractor. They dispatch from home, and their vans carry a full stock of materials. We still book scheduled work carefully so the crew arrives ready for the specific job. If we are late for the window we gave you, we waive the dispatch fee.
Most Cumberland County homes get their power from PPL Electric Utilities. Some areas fall under Met-Ed, and Adams Electric Cooperative serves other parts of the county. Which one you have matters when you change your service. A panel upgrade, a new meter socket or a heavier service drop means coordinating with your utility, and we handle that call. Anything on their side of the meter, like a downed line or a neighborhood outage, is theirs to fix. Everything from the meter into the house is ours.
We also cover the neighboring counties, including Dauphin, York, Perry, Franklin and Adams. So if you have a rental or a relative across the county line, one call covers both.
