A breaker that keeps tripping is doing its job. The question is why. Sometimes the circuit carries more than it should, which is an amperage problem we solve with a dedicated circuit. Sometimes the breaker itself has worn out, and a breaker repair ends it. Sometimes there is a loose neutral or a nicked cable, and we find it with a meter.
A dead outlet usually has a tripped GFCI upstream or a backstabbed connection that let go. Both take minutes to fix once found. Chester County homes mostly carry copper wiring, so the fault tends to sit in a device or a splice rather than in the cable itself.
