The Thomas Edison difference
Need a Poyntelle electrician? Thomas Edison Electric's crews live and work throughout Wayne County, dispatching from their own homes in fully stocked TEE vans. Poyntelle, ZIP 18454, sits right beside Orson, with Lakewood and Lake Como close by too.
Answers come 24/7, 365 days a year, nights, weekends and holidays included. If we run late, we waive the dispatch fee, and every job starts with a written quote.
24/7, 365 days a year, holidays included, no exceptions.
If we miss the window, the dispatch fee is on us.
Every electrician near Poyntelle dispatches from their own home, not a shared lot.
An EV charger or hot tub can push a 100 to 150 amp service past its limit.
Written quotes, every visit.
That record includes over 37,000 jobs completed since 2021.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

A breaker that will not reset at midnight does not wait for business hours, and neither do we. Poyntelle gets the same answer at 2am as it does at 2pm, from an electrician who already lives nearby and carries a fully stocked van, not one dispatched from across the county.
Behind most walls near Poyntelle is copper wiring on a 100 to 150 amp panel, comfortable for a normal household but tight once a heat pump, hot tub or EV charger joins in. Call 215-227-7000 any hour, any day.
In Poyntelle, the township is the office that issues an electrical permit, under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code. Most Wayne County municipalities send plan review and inspections to a third-party agency instead of keeping their own building department, and Poyntelle follows the same pattern. We take that paperwork on ourselves.
PPL Electric Utilities is the utility for most addresses here, with Penelec covering other parts of the county. A panel upgrade or new service needs the utility to disconnect and reconnect at the meter, an appointment we set directly. Once power passes that point, the work inside the house belongs to us, any hour.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
