The Thomas Edison difference
Need a Roaring Branch electrician? Thomas Edison Electric covers ZIP 17765 in Tioga County, home to the county seat of Wellsboro. Wellsboro Electric Company is the primary electric utility around Roaring Branch.
Across Tioga County, aluminum branch wiring, 100-amp panels, two-prong outlets and recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panels turn up often in older homes. Our electricians dispatch from their own homes in fully stocked TEE vans. Call 570-648-8800 any hour.
A Federal Pacific or Zinsco label moves a job from repair to upgrade, and we explain why.
Approved connectors at every joint, or new copper where the wiring calls for it.
A full written report before you list or buy in the area.
Electricians live in the region and drive fully stocked TEE vans from home.
No surprise pricing once the van is in the driveway.
Nights, weekends and holidays included.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
A recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panel is one of the more common finds on an older Tioga County property, and it moves a job from repair to full panel upgrade fast. Aluminum branch wiring from the same era gets corrected with approved connectors rather than a full rewire in most cases.
We also handle a full electrical safety inspection before a home purchase or sale, common for older rural properties in this part of the county. Every job, large or small, comes with a written price before any work begins.
The township around Roaring Branch follows the same setup as most of Tioga County. Permits fall under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code, with a contracted agency, not an in-house building department, handling plan review and inspection. We file that permit and manage the inspection for you.
Wellsboro Electric Company is the primary utility around Roaring Branch, with Penelec, Claverack Rural Electric Cooperative and Tri-County Rural Electric Cooperative each covering other parts of Tioga County. A panel upgrade means a scheduled disconnect and reconnect with whichever one serves your address. Everything behind the meter is ours to finish, any hour you call.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
