The Thomas Edison difference
White Mills electrician requests go to Thomas Edison Electric's own team, based around Wayne County, never a subcontractor's truck. White Mills, ZIP 18473, is home to about 703 people. Honesdale sits 4.4 miles off, Beach Lake 5.9 and Lakeville 7.2.
We are family-owned, licensed under PA075449 and insured. Every job starts with a written quote, and if we run late, we waive the dispatch fee. Call 215-227-7000 any hour, any day.
White Mills calls go to a Thomas Edison Electric electrician, dispatched from home in a stocked van.
Knob-and-tube remnants and 60-amp fuse boxes are familiar territory for our crews.
A 60-amp fuse panel becomes a modern breaker panel, priced in writing before we start.
We confirm which utility bills your address and manage the meter scheduling.
Nights, weekends and holidays included, every year.
PA075449, and financing available if you ask.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Wayne County's woods make winter storms harder on the power lines here than in most of the state. A standby generator with an automatic transfer switch is a steady request in White Mills.
Most White Mills homes go back to 1938, so knob-and-tube remnants, fuse boxes, 60-amp services and ungrounded outlets are still around. A full safety inspection finds all of it, and a fuse box almost always becomes a modern breaker panel. Our electricians are directly employed, not subcontracted, and they dispatch from their own homes.
White Mills isn't incorporated as its own borough, so its township issues electrical permits under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code. As with most of Wayne County, plan review and inspections typically run through a third-party agency instead of a township building department. We handle the filing, the inspection date, and the visit itself.
PPL Electric Utilities serves White Mills, with Penelec in nearby territory. A panel upgrade or new meter base means a disconnect and reconnect at the meter, and we arrange both with PPL Electric Utilities or Penelec, whichever bills you. Line damage after a storm is the utility's repair. From the meter forward, the job is ours, whenever it happens.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
