The Thomas Edison difference
A Pemberton electrician from Thomas Edison Electric is one of our own, not a name subcontracted out for the day. Pemberton borough, ZIP 08068, sits in Burlington County beside Birmingham, New Lisbon and Vincentown, and our crews dispatch from home to reach all of them.
We carry New Jersey license 34EB01791600 and full insurance, and we have completed over 37,000 jobs since 2021. Call 800-380-6800 any time, day or night. The price is written down before work begins, and a late arrival means we waive the dispatch fee.
No subcontractors on a Pemberton job, only direct employees in stocked TEE vans.
Aluminum wiring and recalled panel brands are routine work for us.
Meter changes and upgrades get scheduled with PSE&G as part of the job.
The price is on paper before the first tool comes out.
Nights, weekends and holidays reach the same licensed electrician.
NJ license 34EB01791600, over 37,000 jobs completed since 2021.

We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.
Our team delivers safe, affordable, long-lasting electrical services.
Your time is precious. If we're late, we'll waive your dispatch fee.
Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Pemberton is a small borough of 1,312 people, and most of its houses date to about 1962. That puts a recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panel among the more common problems we find, since both brands sold heavily through the early 1960s before being pulled for overheating and failing to trip. Aluminum branch wiring and ungrounded two-prong outlets round out what usually turns up on a first inspection. A panel upgrade replaces the recalled brand, and an electrical safety inspection catches the rest.
Storms are part of life in this part of Burlington County, close to Birmingham and New Lisbon. Nor'easters and the remnants of tropical systems both pass through, and the Rancocas Creek watershed near Pemberton has flooded more than once. A recalled panel that has also taken on water is not something to leave for later.

Replacing a recalled panel in Pemberton means dealing with the borough and the utility, and we handle both. The borough's construction office reviews the permit under New Jersey's Uniform Construction Code, and our license covers the filing plus the inspection.
PSE&G is the other party, since a new panel needs a brief disconnect and reconnect at the meter. We book that directly. A tree that takes down a line is PSE&G's to repair. A panel that trips or smells hot, at any hour, is ours.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Jimmy made the service call easy. After describing our issue, 2 min max, he already knew what was wrong. He quickly identified, found, and fixed the offending GFI. After years of using Thomas Edison Electric we always refer them to friends and family.

Had a great experience with Michael Van for my initial inspection/walk-through and Steve P and the crew with the install. All of them, including the employees on the phone, were polite and prompt, and I'm very satisfied with my new electrical panel and wiring.
