The Thomas Edison difference
Call a New Lisbon electrician from Thomas Edison Electric and you get one of our own employees, never a subcontractor. New Lisbon, ZIP 08064, sits in Burlington County near Pemberton, Browns Mills and Wrightstown, and our crews dispatch from home to cover all of them.
We hold New Jersey electrical license 34EB01791600, carry full insurance, and have completed over 37,000 jobs since 2021. Call 800-380-6800 any hour. Every quote is written before the work starts, and if we run late, we waive the dispatch fee.
New Lisbon calls go to our own electrician, dispatching from home.
Rated connectors on every loose joint, or new copper where it makes more sense.
We book the meter-side disconnect and reconnect for any upgrade.
The price is on paper before any tool comes out.
Nights, weekends and holidays get the same licensed electrician.
NJ license 34EB01791600, over 37,000 jobs completed since 2021.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
New Lisbon is small enough that it does not appear as its own line in Census population records, so we go by what is true of Burlington County as a whole. Homes in this part of the county often still carry aluminum branch wiring, 100-amp panels and two-prong outlets, and a recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panel is a common find behind an older panel door. A panel upgrade or outlet grounding covers most of what we find. New Lisbon's neighbors, Pemberton and Browns Mills among them, tend to share that same wiring story.
The area sits in the path that nor'easters and tropical storm remnants take through the county, and the Rancocas Creek watershed nearby has a history of flooding. If a panel or basement outlet near you ever took on water, have it checked before resetting anything.

Two names matter for electrical work near New Lisbon: the local construction office and PSE&G. The construction office reviews and signs off on the permit under New Jersey's Uniform Construction Code, and that part is entirely on us, filed under our license with the inspection covered.
PSE&G is the other name, and they own the lines up to the meter. A new panel or added service needs them to disconnect and briefly reconnect, an appointment we set up so you are not the one on hold. If power drops on the whole road, PSE&G restores it. If it is just your house, that call is ours.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Jimmy made the service call easy. After describing our issue, 2 min max, he already knew what was wrong. He quickly identified, found, and fixed the offending GFI. After years of using Thomas Edison Electric we always refer them to friends and family.

Had a great experience with Michael Van for my initial inspection/walk-through and Steve P and the crew with the install. All of them, including the employees on the phone, were polite and prompt, and I'm very satisfied with my new electrical panel and wiring.
