New Lisbon is small enough that it does not appear as its own line in Census population records, so we go by what is true of Burlington County as a whole. Homes in this part of the county often still carry aluminum branch wiring, 100-amp panels and two-prong outlets, and a recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panel is a common find behind an older panel door. A panel upgrade or outlet grounding covers most of what we find. New Lisbon's neighbors, Pemberton and Browns Mills among them, tend to share that same wiring story.
The area sits in the path that nor'easters and tropical storm remnants take through the county, and the Rancocas Creek watershed nearby has a history of flooding. If a panel or basement outlet near you ever took on water, have it checked before resetting anything.
Two names matter for electrical work near New Lisbon: the local construction office and PSE&G. The construction office reviews and signs off on the permit under New Jersey's Uniform Construction Code, and that part is entirely on us, filed under our license with the inspection covered.
