We do not subcontract Liverpool calls. Our electricians dispatch from home in fully stocked TEE vans.

We schedule the utility-side disconnect and reconnect on any upgrade.
No surprise charges, small job or large.

The typical Liverpool home dates to the mid-1970s, an era known for aluminum branch wiring, a full 100-amp panel and two-prong outlets with no ground. Some panels from those years are Federal Pacific or Zinsco, both since recalled. We check the panel brand on nearly every visit, then look at the wiring behind it.
From there, the work is often a 200-amp panel upgrade, a dedicated circuit for a workshop or well pump, or a standby generator for the next outage. All of it comes with a written price first.
Liverpool Borough issues electrical permits under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code, and it contracts the plan review and inspection out to a third-party agency, the same as most boroughs in the county. We take that off your list, from the permit application to meeting the inspector on site.
PPL Electric Utilities is the main provider around Liverpool, with Met-Ed / Penelec covering other areas of Perry County. Any service upgrade or meter change needs a scheduled disconnect and reconnect with the right utility, and we set that up. Line damage outside is the utility's job. A warm panel or dead circuit inside the house is ours, any hour.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
