The Thomas Edison difference
Here is what happens when you call a Washington Crossing electrician from Thomas Edison Electric. You reach a person at 215-227-7000, any hour, 365 days a year. A licensed electrician who lives around Bucks County heads your way from home, in a TEE van stocked for the job. You get a written quote, you approve it, and the work starts. If we arrive late, we waive the dispatch fee.
Washington Crossing is ZIP 18977. New Hope, Penns Park and Pineville are all about 7 miles out, and Morrisville and Wycombe are a bit farther.
215-227-7000 reaches us 24/7. The electrician who shows up is our employee, not a subcontractor.
Fully stocked TEE vans, with the parts for most repairs on board.
Written before work starts, no surprise pricing.
Aluminum wiring, 100-amp panels, two-prong outlets and recalled panels, all handled.
Certified Generac dealer for standby generators, in demand since the 2021 outages.
PA075449, 4.8 stars on Google, over 37,000 jobs completed since 2021, financing available.

We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.
Our team delivers safe, affordable, long-lasting electrical services.
Your time is precious. If we're late, we'll waive your dispatch fee.
Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
In older Bucks County homes, four things turn up again and again. Aluminum branch wiring. A 100-amp panel with no spare slots. Two-prong outlets. A recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panel. Loose aluminum joints get proper connectors. A full or recalled panel becomes a 200-amp upgrade. Two-prong outlets get a ground or GFCI protection. A safety inspection sorts out which of those your house has.
Newer requests are about adding load. That means a Level 2 EV charger, a dedicated circuit for a workshop, or a standby generator. That last one comes up often. Ida's remnants came through Bucks County in September 2021 with flooding, a tornado and county-wide outages. As a certified Generac dealer, we install and service those units.

Washington Crossing is a village, so the township handles your electrical permit under the Pennsylvania Uniform Construction Code. It most likely uses a third-party agency to review the plans and inspect the job. We file, we schedule, we meet the inspector. The fee is on the written quote.
PECO Energy Company supplies the power here. A panel change or service upgrade needs a PECO disconnect and reconnect, and we book it. If the whole street lost power, that is PECO's outage to restore. If only your house went dark, the trouble is likely inside, and inside is ours, 24/7.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike Van Uiter and Steve came out to replace our main breaker panel after water came in and damaged it. They made sure everything was done professionally and neatly, labeled and easy to read. Mike also took time to answer other questions we had and make sure we were comfortable with how to do the generator hookup.

Klaus, Mike and Jim were amazing in getting power back to my barn. Our previous underground line failed and Thomas Edison was able to get a new line installed and powered all within 2 days of my call. Mike and Klaus worked late into the night to make sure we got power back on. Thanks for a great job!!!
