Aspers homes tend to date from around 1968, and that vintage often means aluminum wiring on the branch circuits, 100-amp panels and two-prong outlets. Some of those older panels carry the Federal Pacific or Zinsco name, both since recalled.
We also handle the everyday list: a breaker that trips whenever two appliances run together, a dead outlet in the kitchen, an outdated fan. When a bigger project comes up, like an EV charger that needs its own circuit, a 100-amp panel from 1968 usually needs a look first, and a panel upgrade can cover both at once.
Aspers has no borough government of its own, so permits for electrical work run through the surrounding township under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code, usually with a third-party agency handling plan review and inspection.
