The Thomas Edison difference
Call an Idaville electrician and you get a Thomas Edison Electric employee, not a subcontractor, dispatching from home in a fully stocked TEE van. Idaville, ZIP 17337, is a small community in Adams County, with Gardners just 0.7 miles away, Peach Glen at 1.5 and Aspers at 2.9.
Our license is PA075449, we carry full insurance, and we have completed over 37,000 jobs since 2021. The quote is in writing before work starts, and a late arrival means the dispatch fee is waived. Call 717-274-2700 any time.
No subcontractors work Idaville jobs under the Thomas Edison Electric name.
Aluminum wiring and recalled brands from that period are routine for us.
Met-Ed and Adams Electric Cooperative coordination is handled on our end.
You know the cost before any tool comes out.
Miss the window we gave you and the dispatch charge disappears.
PA075449, over 37,000 jobs completed since 2021, financing available.

We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.
Our team delivers safe, affordable, long-lasting electrical services.
Your time is precious. If we're late, we'll waive your dispatch fee.
Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Idaville homes tend to date from around 1972, an era that often means aluminum wiring on the branch circuits, 100-amp panels and two-prong outlets. Federal Pacific and Zinsco panels, both since recalled, still show up here as well.
A lot of our visits are simple: a new outlet for a home office, a data line run to a router in a different room, a breaker that needs replacing. When the bigger question comes up, like whether a 1972 panel can handle an EV charger, we check the amperage first and give you a straight answer.

Idaville has no borough government, so permits for electrical work go through the surrounding township under the state Uniform Construction Code, usually with a third-party agency handling review and inspection. We take that off your plate, from the filing to the final sign-off.
Met-Ed supplies power to most of Idaville, and Adams Electric Cooperative reaches other homes nearby. A panel or service upgrade needs a scheduled disconnect at the meter, and we set that up with whichever utility bills you. A downed line is the utility's repair. From the meter inward, any hour, that's ours.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Lyle was fantastic to work with! He was very punctual, arriving right within the expected window the day of. While he was here he did good work, made sure to answer all questions during and after the job was completed, and cleaned up all traces of work being done like drywall dust and leftover bits of wire/wood scraps before leaving. 10/10, would entrust again.
