The Thomas Edison difference
A Bendersville electrician from Thomas Edison Electric is always our own employee, never a subcontractor, dispatching from home in a fully stocked TEE van. Bendersville, ZIP 17306, sits in Adams County next to Aspers, 1.3 miles off, with Gardners at 2.8 and Peach Glen at 2.9.
We are licensed under PA075449 and fully insured, with over 37,000 jobs completed since 2021. Every quote is written before work starts, and a late arrival means we waive the dispatch fee. Call 717-274-2700 any time.
Bendersville-area electricians dispatch from their own homes, never from a distant yard.
60-amp services and knob-and-tube remnants from 1951 are work we see often.
We handle the utility side of any upgrade so you don't have to.
The price is on paper before the first tool comes out.
If we run behind the window we gave you, the dispatch fee is gone.

Bendersville's typical home was built around 1951, old enough that knob-and-tube remnants, fuse boxes, 60-amp services and ungrounded outlets still show up regularly. None of that is a crisis, but it does limit what a house can safely run.
When a homeowner wants to add central air or a workshop circuit, a 60-amp fuse box rarely has the room, so an amperage upgrade usually comes first. For families thinking further ahead, a standby generator pairs well with a new panel, and as a certified Generac dealer we install and service those too.

Bendersville Borough issues electrical permits under the state Uniform Construction Code, and like most small boroughs, it uses a third-party inspection agency rather than running its own building department. We take care of the paperwork, the scheduling and the inspector visit as part of your written quote.
Met-Ed is the primary utility in Bendersville, with Adams Electric Cooperative serving other parts of the county. A new circuit or service upgrade means a scheduled shutoff at the meter, and we coordinate that directly with whichever utility bills you. Line repairs after a storm are theirs. Everything behind the meter is ours, any hour of the day.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Lyle was fantastic to work with! He was very punctual, arriving right within the expected window the day of. While he was here he did good work, made sure to answer all questions during and after the job was completed, and cleaned up all traces of work being done like drywall dust and leftover bits of wire/wood scraps before leaving. 10/10, would entrust again.
