The Thomas Edison difference
Need a Barto electrician? Thomas Edison Electric covers ZIP 19504 and the rest of Berks County. Bechtelsville and Bally each sit about 1.5 miles off, in opposite directions, and New Berlinville is 3.4.
None of our electricians are subcontractors. Each one is a direct employee who leaves for the job from their own home, van already stocked. Licensed under PA075449, insured, and on call 24/7, 365 days a year, with a written quote before anyone starts work. Call 610-782-9000 any time, day or night.
Barto's electricians are direct employees who stock their vans at home before the first call.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Barto has no census record of its own, but the pattern across Berks County holds here too: aluminum branch wiring, 100 amp panels, two-prong outlets and recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panels turn up often in homes of the area's era.
We also handle the smaller jobs, a breaker that trips for no reason, a dead outlet, a ceiling fan that wobbles. For a workshop or a hot tub, we run a proper dedicated circuit sized for the load. Bigger or small, the price is in writing before we touch a tool.
Barto has no borough government of its own, so permits go through the township, following Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code. Berks County townships generally use a third-party agency for plan review and inspection rather than running their own office. We handle the application, the scheduling and the walkthrough.
Coverage here splits between Met-Ed and PPL Electric Utilities depending on the address. When a job calls for a disconnect, a new panel or a bigger service, we're the ones who set it up with the right company and get you reconnected after. Poles and lines belong to them. The panel, the wiring, every outlet, that's our territory.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Absolutely thrilled with our electrician Dennis! He was very knowledgeable and polite. Made this process very easy and stress free. We had two light fixtures put in along with an exhaust fan, cleaned up after and everything. Highly recommend this company and their electrician!

Had a great experience with Michael Van for my initial inspection/walk-through and Steve P and the crew with the install. All of them, including the employees on the phone, were polite and prompt, and I'm very satisfied with my new electrical panel and wiring.
