Bird In Hand doesn't have its own census record, but the housing pattern across Lancaster County still applies. Homes of that general age often carry aluminum branch wiring, 100-amp panels and two-prong outlets, and a recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panel is common enough that we check for it first.
We correct aluminum joints with approved connectors, ground two-prong outlets or add GFCI protection, and handle panel upgrades when the load has outgrown the service. For kitchens and additions, we also install custom lighting with a written price before we start.
