The Thomas Edison difference
Thomas Edison Electric is a family-owned, multigenerational company, and a Dry Run electrician from our team is never a subcontractor. We cover all of Franklin County, including ZIP 17220, with Spring Run just 2.1 miles from town center.
Amberson and Doylesburg aren't much further, and we cover both on the same route. Every van is stocked at home, licensed under PA075449, insured, and ready 24/7, 365 days a year. Written quotes come before any work, and a late arrival waives our dispatch fee. Call 215-227-7000.
Common across Franklin County, Dry Run included, and safe to bring current.
Same crew, same coverage, out to Amberson and Doylesburg too.
No subcontractors, ever. Vans are stocked and kept at home.
No cost surprises once the work begins.
Holidays included, dispatch fee waived if we're late.
Over 37,000 jobs completed since 2021, financing available.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Homes throughout Franklin County, Dry Run included, often carry aluminum branch wiring, a 100-amp panel, two-prong outlets, or a recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panel. None of that is unusual out here.
Most weeks, the work is simple: a dead outlet, a stubborn breaker, a light that buzzes. We keep the parts for that in every van. When the job is bigger, like a panel upgrade or ceiling fan install, the price is written down first.
Electrical permits here go through the township under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code. As in most of Franklin County, the township typically relies on a third-party inspection agency rather than its own building department. We pull the permit, book the inspector and include both in your written quote.
Met-Ed is the main utility serving this area, with Adams Electric Cooperative or Valley Rural Electric Cooperative covering some addresses instead. A service upgrade or new meter needs a scheduled disconnect and reconnect from whichever one applies, and we take care of that. A wider outage belongs to the utility. A problem past your meter belongs to us.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
