The Thomas Edison difference
A Spring Run electrician from Thomas Edison Electric answers calls in ZIP 17262, in the corner of Franklin County near Dry Run and Willow Hill. Being a small community does not mean a smaller crew. Our electricians are direct employees who head out from their own homes in fully stocked TEE vans, never a subcontractor.
We carry Pennsylvania license PA075449 and insurance, and the company has stayed family owned across generations. Every job comes with a written quote before work starts, and a late arrival waives the dispatch fee. Call 215-227-7000 any hour, any day.
Wells, barns and detached garages get the same licensed electrician as any other job, not a special add-on rate.
Our electricians head out from their own homes in fully stocked TEE vans.
Adams Electric Cooperative and Valley Rural Electric Cooperative both serve parts of Franklin County. We work with whichever one is yours.
No surprise pricing, and a late arrival waives the dispatch fee.
Nights, weekends and holidays, every day of the year.
PA075449, rated 4.8 stars on Google, over 37,000 jobs completed since 2021.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Like much of Franklin County, older homes around Spring Run often still carry aluminum branch wiring, 100-amp panels and two-prong outlets. A recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panel turns up more than you would expect.
We treat rural properties as normal work, not a special trip. A well pump, a barn or a detached garage often needs its own dedicated circuit. Plenty of local households also ask about a standby generator for when the power drops on a long rural line.
Adams Electric Cooperative and Valley Rural Electric Cooperative serve parts of the area alongside Met-Ed. We coordinate with whichever one runs to your meter.
Electrical permits around Spring Run go through the township under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code. Most Franklin County townships hire a third-party agency to review plans and inspect the finished work instead of keeping an inspector on staff. The exact process shifts from one township to the next. We track down the right form, pull the permit and schedule the inspection as part of the job.
Met-Ed is the main utility here, though Adams Electric Cooperative or Valley Rural Electric Cooperative may serve your particular address instead. A downed line is theirs to fix. Anything from the meter into the house, day or night, is ours.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
