The Thomas Edison difference
Looking for an Upperstrasburg electrician who actually lives nearby? Thomas Edison Electric covers ZIP 17265 in Franklin County, including Fannettsburg and Willow Hill close by. Rather than a subcontractor, you get an electrician who lives in the region and keeps a fully stocked TEE van at home, ready to go.
We carry Pennsylvania license PA075449 and full insurance, and we have completed over 37,000 jobs since 2021. Every visit comes with a written quote first, and a late arrival means the dispatch fee is on us. Reach us at 215-227-7000, any hour.
Upperstrasburg's permit process runs through the township, and we track down the right one every time.
Aluminum wiring, 100-amp service and two-prong outlets are familiar work for us across this part of Franklin County.
Not a subcontractor, and a van stocked before it ever leaves home.
Before any work starts, not after.
Holidays and weekends included, every time you call.
PA075449, 4.8 stars on Google, over 37,000 jobs completed since 2021.

Upperstrasburg sits among Fannettsburg, Willow Hill and Pleasant Hall in rural Franklin County. As in the rest of the county, older homes here tend to run on aluminum branch wiring and 100-amp panels. Two-prong outlets are common too, and sometimes a recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panel sits behind the cover plate.
We handle electrical code violation repairs for homes coming up for sale or refinance. We also set up communication and data lines for anyone working from home, where a wired connection still matters.
Valley Rural Electric Cooperative and Met-Ed both serve addresses here, and we sort out which one applies before scheduling meter work.
Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code governs electrical permits here, and the township issues them. As in most of Franklin County, plan review and inspection are usually contracted out to a third-party agency instead of run in-house. The exact steps can differ from the next township over. We take that off your plate, from filing the permit to booking the inspector.
Whether Met-Ed or Valley Rural Electric Cooperative serves your address, we find out before scheduling a job. The utility handles the disconnect and reconnect at the meter. We take care of everything else inside the house.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
