The Thomas Edison difference
A Willow Hill electrician from Thomas Edison Electric covers ZIP 17271, sitting between Fannettsburg, Spring Run and Upperstrasburg in Franklin County. No matter which direction you take, one of our electricians is close by, dispatching from home in a fully stocked TEE van.
We carry Pennsylvania license PA075449 and full insurance, with over 37,000 jobs completed since 2021. Every job starts with a written quote, and a late arrival means we waive the dispatch fee. Call 215-227-7000 any hour of the day.
Electricians dispatch from home across the area, not from one central yard.
A written quote before any fixture goes up.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Homes around Willow Hill mostly predate today's electrical demands, and the panel shows it. Aluminum branch wiring, 100-amp service and two-prong outlets are common across this part of Franklin County. A recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panel is not a rare find either.
A lot of what we do here is custom lighting work and ceiling and attic fan installs. Those jobs look simple on paper, but the panel has to support a new circuit first. We check that every time, before adding anything new.
Met-Ed serves much of the area, and Adams Electric Cooperative or Valley Rural Electric Cooperative picks up the rest.
The township around Willow Hill issues electrical permits under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code. Like most of Franklin County, the plan review and inspection usually go through a third-party agency. That means paperwork most homeowners never see, and we would rather you not have to. We file it, book the inspector and fold both into your written quote.
If an outage reaches the whole street, that call goes to the utility, Met-Ed or a rural cooperative. If only your house has gone dark, the trouble is usually on our side of the meter. We answer any hour.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
