Houses of this vintage across Luzerne County often carry aluminum branch circuits, capped at 100 amps. Two-prong outlets are common too, and so is the occasional Federal Pacific or Zinsco panel, both recalled years ago. We check for all of it in Ebervale.
PPL Electric Utilities powers this area. PPL handles the poles and any outage. Everything from the meter in is ours. We also run electrical safety inspections, fix electrical code violations, and add data and communication lines. Call 610-782-9000 any hour.
Ebervale's electrical permits fall under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code. Rather than running its own building department, the local municipality typically works with a third-party inspection agency. We take care of filing the permit, booking the inspection and being there when the inspector comes through.
PPL Electric Utilities serves Ebervale. A panel upgrade or meter swap needs a PPL disconnect and reconnect. We schedule that as part of the job. PPL fixes outages and line damage outside. Everything from the meter in is ours, any hour you call.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
