Forksville's median home dates to 1938, among the older housing stock in Sullivan County. Knob-and-tube remnants, fuse boxes, 60-amp services and ungrounded outlets are all common finds at that age, and we treat each one as routine, not an emergency by default.
Sullivan County has a mix of utilities, and PPL Electric Utilities covers most of the ground around Forksville. Getting a panel upgrade to modern amperage means scheduling around whichever utility sends your bill, which we confirm before we start. We also run electrical safety inspections ahead of a sale, and add data line wiring for homes catching up to modern internet service.
Forksville's borough status means electrical permits get filed locally instead of through a township office, under the same statewide Uniform Construction Code that covers all of Pennsylvania. Plan review and inspection here go to a third-party agency, the setup nearly every small Sullivan County borough uses. Handling that filing, and standing with the inspector, is our job, not yours.
PPL Electric Utilities covers most of the Forksville area, though Sullivan County has other providers too. Tell us who sends your bill and we handle the rest, scheduling the meter disconnect before we start and the reconnect once the inspection passes. Storm damage to the lines is the utility's job. The panel and wiring are ours.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
