The Thomas Edison difference
Need a Glenville electrician? Thomas Edison Electric's crews dispatch from their own homes across York County in fully stocked TEE vans, never a distant yard. Glenville, ZIP 17329, sits between Codorus and Hanover, with Glen Rock and New Freedom both within reach.
Behind every visit is PA license PA075449, full insurance, and a company total of more than 37,000 jobs completed since 2021. Phone 717-274-2700 whenever the need comes up, and you'll get a written price before any work starts.
Glenville's service expert is a direct hire who keeps the van stocked at home.
Aluminum branch circuits and two-prong outlets are familiar work throughout York County.
Met-Ed's disconnect and reconnect gets scheduled around your job, not after it.
A written quote comes before any work.
24/7 coverage, 365 days a year.

We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
What we find on a typical Glenville service call tracks with York County as a whole: a 100-amp panel doing more work than it was built for, two-prong outlets with no ground path, and once in a while a recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panel behind the door.
Codorus and Hanover keep the same electricians busy who answer in Glenville. None of them are subcontracted, and every price is on paper before work starts. A panel upgrade is the usual fix, and we run dedicated circuits for workshops and home offices the same visit if needed.
Glenville's electrical permits are governed by Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code. As with most of York County, a third-party agency handles plan review and inspection rather than a township building department. We take that off your hands entirely, from the first form to the final sign-off.
Met-Ed supplies electric service around Glenville. A meter-side job, like a service upgrade, needs Met-Ed to disconnect and reconnect power, and we set that up ourselves. A downed line is Met-Ed's to repair; the wiring past the meter is ours, any hour.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Absolutely thrilled with our electrician Dennis! He was very knowledgeable and polite. Made this process very easy and stress free. We had two light fixtures put in along with an exhaust fan, cleaned up after and everything. Highly recommend this company and their electrician!

Jimmy made the service call easy. After describing our issue, 2 min max, he already knew what was wrong. He quickly identified, found, and fixed the offending GFI. After years of using Thomas Edison Electric we always refer them to friends and family.

Had a great experience with Michael Van for my initial inspection/walk-through and Steve P and the crew with the install. All of them, including the employees on the phone, were polite and prompt, and I'm very satisfied with my new electrical panel and wiring.
