Laceyville Borough issues electrical permits under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code. As in most of Wyoming County, plan review and inspections usually go through a third-party agency rather than an in-house building department. We pull the permit, schedule the inspection, and are there for the visit.
PPL Electric Utilities serves most of Laceyville, and UGI Electric or Claverack Rural Electric Cooperative may apply depending on the address. A panel upgrade or new meter base means a scheduled disconnect and reconnect, and we set that up with PPL Electric Utilities or the correct utility. Storm damage to the lines is theirs to fix. Past the meter, the house is our responsibility, any hour.
