The Thomas Edison difference
Need a Lawton electrician? Thomas Edison Electric covers ZIP 18828 in Susquehanna County. Lawton sits well out from its nearest neighbors, with Friendsville 9.2 miles off, Dimock and South Montrose both around 9.3, and Montrose, the county seat, about 10.5.
That kind of distance between houses means well pumps, barns and detached garages carry their own circuits more often than in denser parts of the county. Our electricians dispatch from their own homes in fully stocked TEE vans. Call 215-227-7000 any hour.
Barns, wells and workshops get their own dedicated circuits instead of an overloaded shared line.
A rural call often means a longer wait for power, so we size for days, not hours.
A panel that trips under normal use gets a real answer, not a guess.
Our electricians live in the area and roll out from their own homes.
No surprise pricing once the van is in the driveway.
Nights, weekends and holidays included.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
A property with a barn, a workshop or a detached garage usually needs more than one circuit doing more than one job. We run dedicated circuits for well pumps, shop tools and outbuildings, sized and permitted on their own rather than tapped off an existing line.
Outages tend to last longer in spread-out areas like this, so a standby generator with an automatic transfer switch is a common request too. If your panel is tripping under normal load, that is usually an amperage problem we can diagnose the same visit. We quote it all in writing before any work starts.
There's no borough hall issuing permits directly around Lawton. The work still falls under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code, and the township contracts a third-party agency to review plans and inspect the finished job. We handle that filing and stay until it passes.
PPL Electric Utilities serves most of Lawton, and a panel or service upgrade means coordinating the disconnect and reconnect with them directly. We schedule both ends of that appointment. Line repairs after a storm are PPL's responsibility. The wiring, panel and everything past the meter on your property are ours, any hour you need us.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
