Yes. A standby generator needs an electrical permit, and a fuel-line permit if it runs on gas, both through the township. We handle the paperwork and the inspection, so you just approve the written quote.
Sometimes. Most homes here run 100 to 150-amp service, and a Level 2 charger needs its own circuit. We run a load calculation first. If the panel is full, a 200-amp upgrade solves it, coordinated with PECO.
