The Thomas Edison difference
Looking for a Lurgan electrician? Thomas Edison Electric's crews work across Franklin County, and Lurgan Township, ZIP 17232 and home to about 1,954 people, is part of that ground. Roxbury is 1.3 miles off, Orrstown 3.7, and Pleasant Hall not far past that.
Our electricians are direct employees, not subcontractors, and they dispatch from home in fully stocked TEE vans. We hold PA license PA075449, carry full insurance, and answer 24/7 with a written quote before work starts. Call 215-227-7000 any hour.
Aluminum branch wiring and 100-amp panels are routine work for us in Lurgan Township.
dispatching from home in a stocked van, never a subcontractor.
A standby generator with a transfer switch keeps the lights on through the next outage.
Every price is written down first, whether it's a switch or a full panel.
We take calls nights, weekends and holidays. Running late waives the dispatch fee.
Over 37,000 jobs completed since 2021, and financing if you ask.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
The typical Lurgan Township home dates to 1973. Houses from that period often have aluminum branch wiring, 100-amp panels and two-prong outlets, and a recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panel turns up on occasion too.
We check the panel brand first on every visit, since it decides the rest of the job. A generator with an automatic transfer switch is a common add-on out here, and a circuit breaker upgrade to 200 amps clears out an aging or recalled panel in one visit.
Lurgan Township issues electrical permits under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code, typically through a third-party inspection agency rather than its own building department. We pull the permit and handle the process.
Met-Ed, paired with Penelec under FirstEnergy, is the utility across most of Lurgan Township. We coordinate the meter side of any panel upgrade, disconnect and reconnect included. When the lines themselves go down in a storm, that call belongs to the utility, not us.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
