The Thomas Edison difference
A Peckville electrician from Thomas Edison Electric is on our own payroll, not contracted out. Each day starts from home, in a fully stocked TEE van. Peckville sits in ZIP 18452 inside Lackawanna County, a short hop from Jessup, 1.1 miles off, Olyphant, 1.5 miles off, and Dickson City, 2.3 miles away.
Every visit is backed by Pennsylvania license PA075449 and full insurance, with the price written down first. Dial 215-227-7000 at any hour, any day, all year long. If we are late getting there, the dispatch fee is waived.
Peckville's electrician is a Thomas Edison Electric employee, not a subcontractor filling in for one.
Fuse boxes and stray knob-and-tube turn up often, and we know exactly what to do with each.
Blakely and Olyphant run their own power nearby, and we confirm which applies to your address.
Nothing gets repaired until you have approved the price in writing.
24/7, 365 days a year, holidays included.
PA075449 on file, 4.8 stars on Google, and over 37,000 completed jobs since 2021.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Older homes throughout Lackawanna County, Peckville among them, tend to hold onto fuse boxes rather than breakers, with wiring rated for 60 amps. Outlets that were never grounded are common too, and a stretch of forgotten knob-and-tube overhead is not unusual either.
PPL Electric Utilities covers most of Peckville, though Blakely and Olyphant, both nearby, run their own borough electric departments. We sort out which one owns your meter before ever booking a service upgrade. On the repair side, a fuse box turns into a breaker panel, bare outlets get a real ground or GFCI protection, and live knob-and-tube gets isolated or pulled. An electrical safety inspection is the clearest way to see where your own house stands.
The same crew covering Peckville also answers in Jessup, Olyphant and Dickson City.
A Peckville electrical permit goes through the township under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code. The actual inspection is usually farmed out to a third-party agency rather than handled in-house. We take that whole process off your plate: the permit, the inspection date, and the final walkthrough, folded into the written quote you already approved.
PPL Electric Utilities serves most Peckville addresses, though nearby Blakely and Olyphant run electric departments of their own. We confirm which utility owns your meter first. Then we book the disconnect and reconnect around our crew's visit.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Absolutely thrilled with our electrician Dennis! He was very knowledgeable and polite. Made this process very easy and stress free. We had two light fixtures put in along with an exhaust fan, cleaned up after and everything. Highly recommend this company and their electrician!

Jimmy made the service call easy. After describing our issue, 2 min max, he already knew what was wrong. He quickly identified, found, and fixed the offending GFI. After years of using Thomas Edison Electric we always refer them to friends and family.

Had a great experience with Michael Van for my initial inspection/walk-through and Steve P and the crew with the install. All of them, including the employees on the phone, were polite and prompt, and I'm very satisfied with my new electrical panel and wiring.
