Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Picture Rocks homes typically date to 1959, old enough for fuse boxes, 60-amp services, knob-and-tube remnants and ungrounded outlets to still be part of the picture. We open the panel first, then talk through what we find before touching anything else.
Small jobs are common too. A flickering light, a dead outlet, a ceiling fan that hums. Our ceiling and attic fan and lighting work covers both, and a panel upgrade is there once the fuse box has had enough.
In Picture Rocks, electrical permits are a Pennsylvania Uniform Construction Code matter, and the borough, like its neighbors, outsources inspections to a third-party agency instead of keeping a building department on staff. We handle the filing and the inspection visit.
PPL Electric Utilities holds the utility contract for Picture Rocks. A panel swap or new service triggers a meter disconnect and reconnect, and we're the ones who schedule it with PPL. Line trouble outside the house belongs to PPL. Trouble inside, past the meter, is what we're called for.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
