Around the lake, most houses were built in the late 1970s. Expect aluminum branch wiring, a 100-amp panel and two-prong outlets, and do not be surprised if the panel turns out to be a recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco. We look for those first.

Permits, Inspections and Your Utility in Pocono Pines
Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code governs electrical permits in Pocono Pines, issued through the township. Plan review and inspection usually falls to a third-party agency under contract, standard practice across Monroe County. We file the paperwork and are on hand for the inspection.
