Electrical service

I was really impressed with Don and Engeli and the work they performed for me. We had a discussion on the best way to run the new line for the septic pump and I really appreciated the extra effort they made to keep the esthetic of my home's exterior. Not automatically, but it limits what the house can support. Fuse boxes were sized for a much lighter load than a modern kitchen and central air draw today. We inspect the box, explain what we find, and give you a written quote for a breaker panel if you need one.

The power is out on my street. Do I call you or Met-Ed?

Look outside first. If the whole block is dark, that's a Met-Ed or PPL outage, and the utility handles the repair. If only your house lost power, or certain rooms went dark while others stayed lit, the problem is likely on your side of the meter, and that's ours to fix, any hour.

What should I check before buying an older home in Reading?
