The Thomas Edison difference
Searching for a Saint Thomas electrician? Thomas Edison Electric's crews work throughout Franklin County, and Saint Thomas, ZIP 17252, is part of that ground. Williamson is 4.5 miles off, Lemasters 5.1, and Fort Loudon not much farther.
We employ our electricians directly rather than subcontracting. Each one dispatches from home in a van that's already stocked. We hold PA license PA075449, carry full insurance, and answer 24/7 with a written quote before work starts. Call 215-227-7000 any hour.
Each electrician dispatches from home in a van that's already stocked, never a subcontractor.
Home offices and entertainment setups get properly run, code-compliant wiring.
Aging or recalled panels get replaced with a properly sized modern one.
We put the number on paper before starting, so there's nothing to guess at.
A late arrival on our part waives the dispatch fee, no questions asked.
4.8 stars on Google and over 37,000 jobs completed since 2021.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Across Franklin County, homes often still have aluminum branch wiring, 100-amp panels, two-prong outlets and recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panels. We see that mix regularly on calls around Saint Thomas, and it's the first thing we check on arrival.
Home offices and streaming setups have made data and communication line work a regular request here, alongside the usual panel upgrades that an aging or recalled panel needs. Both get a written quote before we start.
Electrical work around Saint Thomas is permitted through the township, under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code, not a borough office. Most townships in the county lean on a third-party inspection agency, and we manage that process.
Met-Ed and Penelec serve the Saint Thomas area for most homes. Any service upgrade needs a meter disconnect and reconnect, and we coordinate that scheduling. When a storm takes down the lines, the utility repairs them; everything on your side of the meter is our job.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
