Sellersville has a wrinkle that most towns do not. PECO Energy Company is the main utility here, but Perkasie, its closest neighbor, runs a borough-owned electric department. Before we file anything for a service upgrade, we look at the name on your bill. That small step keeps a panel job from stalling on the wrong paperwork.
The typical Sellersville house went up around 1972. Aluminum branch wiring, 100-amp panels and two-prong outlets are the usual finds, along with recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panels. We fix those properly, with the price agreed in writing before we start.
