The Thomas Edison difference
Winfield electricians from Thomas Edison Electric cover this Union County community of about 909 people. Lewisburg, the county seat, is 4.1 miles away. New Berlin and Vicksburg are each 7.2.
Our electricians are directly employed, never subcontracted, and dispatch from home in fully stocked TEE vans. PA075449 licensed, insured, and part of a company with over 37,000 jobs completed since 2021. Call 570-648-8800 any hour. Every job gets a written quote first, and a late arrival means the dispatch fee is waived.
Aluminum wiring and 100-amp service are common, and we know exactly what to check.
We calculate the load before we ever size the circuit.
New appliances and workshops get their own safe circuit, quoted up front.
Federal Pacific and Zinsco brands get swapped for one that trips when it should.
PPL Electric Utilities or Citizens Electric Company, we manage either one.
PA075449, insured, over 37,000 jobs completed since 2021, dispatch fee waived if we run late.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Winfield's homes typically date to 1976. Aluminum branch wiring, 100-amp panels, two-prong outlets and recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panels are all common finds from that era, and we handle each one the same way we would in any part of the county.
A 100-amp panel from 1976 often cannot support an EV charger without help. We check the load first, then size a dedicated circuit or a full EV charger installation around what the panel can actually carry.
PPL Electric Utilities and Citizens Electric Company both serve Winfield, and we coordinate either one for a service upgrade.
Winfield has no borough government, so permits for electrical work go through the township under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code. As with most of the county, the township typically brings in a third-party agency for plan review and inspections. We file the permit and coordinate the inspection from start to finish.
PPL Electric Utilities and Citizens Electric Company both serve Winfield. A service upgrade or EV charger installation needs a disconnect and reconnect at the meter, and we schedule that with the right utility. Storm damage to the lines is theirs to fix. Everything past the meter is ours, at any hour.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
