The Thomas Edison difference
A Woxall electrician from Thomas Edison Electric is never far from home, since our crews live and dispatch across Montgomery County. Woxall, ZIP 18979, is home to 1,347 people. Sumneytown is 1.3 miles away, Salfordville 1.5 and Perkiomenville 1.8.
We are licensed under PA075449, insured, and family owned, with more than 37,000 jobs completed since 2021. Call 610-489-1300 any hour, and expect a written quote before work begins.
Woxall electricians dispatch from their own homes in fully stocked TEE vans, not a call center.
Aluminum wiring, 100-amp panels and recalled panel brands are work we see constantly here.
A dead outlet or a flickering light gets the same licensed electrician as a full panel swap.
We book the disconnect and reconnect for any upgrade.
Nothing starts until you approve the number in writing.
PA075449, over 37,000 jobs completed since 2021, financing available if you ask.

The typical Woxall home dates to around 1979. Houses from that era often still run aluminum branch wiring, 100-amp panels, two-prong outlets and, sometimes, a recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panel. We check the panel brand on every call.
Aluminum joints get remade with connectors rated for the job, not just wrapped and left. A recalled panel is the clearest case for a 200-amp upgrade, which also makes room for a Level 2 EV charger or a standby generator.
Two-prong outlets get real grounding or GFCI protection where a ground is not practical, priced in writing first.
Woxall's permits run through the township under the state Uniform Construction Code, and like most of Montgomery County, plan review and inspections usually go through a third-party agency. We pull the permit, set the inspection and are on site when the inspector shows up.
PECO Energy Company is the electric utility for most of this area, though it is worth checking the name on your bill since a couple of nearby boroughs run their own systems. A panel or service upgrade needs a scheduled disconnect and reconnect at the meter, and we handle that booking. Line damage and outages belong to the utility. Everything from the meter inward is ours, day or night.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
