Award-winning company
The Thomas Edison difference
A Perkiomenville electrician from Thomas Edison Electric is always our own employee, dispatching from home in a fully stocked TEE van, not a subcontractor passing through. Perkiomenville is ZIP 18074, part of Montgomery County, with Green Lane a mile away, Sumneytown 1.5 miles, Woxall 1.8 and Frederick 3.1.
We are a family-owned, multigenerational, award-winning company, licensed under PA075449 and insured. Call 610-489-1300 any hour of any day. Every job starts with a written quote, and a late arrival means we waive the dispatch fee.
Two-prong outlets get a real ground where the wiring supports it, GFCI protection where it does not.
A Federal Pacific or Zinsco label means a 200-amp panel takes its place.
New appliances and additions get a load check first, so nothing overloads a panel.
Our electricians live around Perkiomenville and dispatch from their own homes.
A tripped breaker at midnight still gets a licensed electrician.
PA075449, over 37,000 jobs completed since 2021, financing available on request.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Homes across Montgomery County commonly carry aluminum branch wiring, 100-amp panels, two-prong outlets and, now and then, a recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panel, and Perkiomenville sees its share. Two-prong outlets get a real ground or GFCI protection, whichever the wiring allows. A panel at capacity, or one carrying a recalled brand name, becomes a 200-amp upgrade.
We also handle the everyday list: a breaker that trips too often, an amperage question before a new appliance arrives, a dead outlet. Every estimate is written before the first tool comes out of the van.
Perkiomenville is unincorporated, so its township issues the electrical permit under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code, typically through a third-party inspection agency rather than its own building department. We file it, schedule the inspector and see the visit through, all included in your written quote.
PECO Energy Company is the electric utility serving Perkiomenville. A panel swap or service upgrade means we schedule the disconnect and reconnect with PECO. PECO handles storm damage to the lines outside. From the meter inward, panel and wiring alike, that work is ours, any hour you call.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
