The Thomas Edison difference
A Bausman electrician from Thomas Edison Electric is never a stranger to the area. We're licensed across Lancaster County and dispatch from our own homes in fully stocked TEE vans, covering ZIP 17504 close to Lancaster, Millersville and Willow Street.
We hold PA license PA075449 and full insurance, and our family-owned company has completed over 37,000 jobs since 2021. Call 717-274-2700 any hour. Every quote comes in writing first, and if we run late, we waive the dispatch fee.
Our electricians live around Lancaster County and leave home ready for the job, not from a distant yard.
Aluminum branch circuits, two-prong outlets and recalled panels are routine work for us.
A panel upgrade or meter change means a call to PPL. We handle that for you.
The price is on paper before work starts, from one outlet to a full panel.
Nights, weekends and holidays included, every day of the year.
PA075449, over 37,000 jobs completed since 2021, and 4.8 stars on Google.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Bausman doesn't have its own census count, but the pattern across Lancaster County still holds here. Homes from the decades after the war often still carry aluminum branch wiring, 100-amp panels, two-prong outlets, and a recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panel turns up more than you'd expect.
We fix aluminum connections with rated connectors, ground or GFCI-protect two-prong outlets, and swap a recalled panel for a modern 200-amp upgrade. If you're not sure what your house has, a safety inspection gives you a written list before you decide what's next.
Bausman has no borough hall of its own, so permits go through the township under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code. Like most of the county, the township hands inspections to a third-party agency. We pull the permit, book the inspection and walk the inspector through the finished work, all inside your written quote.
PPL Electric Utilities serves Bausman. A panel upgrade or new service means a disconnect and reconnect at the meter, and we schedule both with PPL. A neighborhood outage is PPL's to fix. Trouble at just your house is ours, any hour.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
