Looking for an Elliottsburg electrician? Thomas Edison Electric answers calls across Perry County, and ZIP 17024 sits squarely in our territory. Loysville and Landisburg are both about 3.3 miles away, Ickesburg is 5.7, and New Bloomfield, the county seat, is 5.8.
We are a multigenerational, family-owned company, licensed in Pennsylvania under PA075449 and fully insured. Call 717-274-2700 any hour, and every price comes in writing before work starts.
Our crews live in the area and roll out from their own homes in fully stocked TEE vans, never a subcontractor.

No surprise charges, whether it is a barn rewire or a single outlet.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Across Perry County, aluminum branch wiring, 100-amp panels, two-prong outlets and recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panels turn up often. We check the panel brand first, then the wiring behind it. A 200-amp panel upgrade usually follows once a panel is full or on the recall list.
Rural properties near Elliottsburg often need dedicated circuits for a well pump, a barn or a workshop, along with a standby generator for when the lines go down. As a certified Generac dealer, we size, install and service those systems, with a written quote before anything starts.
Elliottsburg's electrical permits move through the township under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code, usually with an outside agency handling plan review and inspection rather than the township itself. We file the permit, set the inspection date and meet the inspector at the door.
PPL Electric Utilities serves most of the Elliottsburg area, with Met-Ed / Penelec covering other pockets of Perry County. A panel upgrade needs a scheduled disconnect and reconnect with whichever one bills you, and we handle that call. Storm damage to the lines is the utility's repair. A warm panel inside the house is ours, any hour.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
