The Thomas Edison difference
Need a Landisburg electrician? Thomas Edison Electric serves this Perry County borough of about 261 people, ZIP 17040, as part of Perry County. Loysville sits 2.5 miles away, Elliottsburg 3.3 and Shermans Dale 7.2.
Our electricians are directly employed, not subcontracted, and dispatch from their own homes in fully stocked TEE vans. Thomas Edison Electric is multigenerational and family-owned, licensed under PA075449 and insured. Call 717-274-2700 any hour, with a written quote before work starts.
Landisburg's electrician works for us directly and keeps a fully stocked TEE van at home, ready to go.
Knob-and-tube remnants, fuse boxes and 60-amp services are ordinary work for us.
PPL or Met-Ed / Penelec, whichever bills you, gets coordinated by us.
The number is on paper before we touch anything.
A fuse box that fails at midnight still gets a licensed electrician.
PA075449, rated 4.8 stars on Google, over 37,000 jobs completed since 2021.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Landisburg's typical home dates to the late 1930s, and houses from that era commonly still have knob-and-tube remnants, fuse boxes, 60-amp electrical services and outlets that were never grounded. A 60-amp service leaves little room for anything modern, so a panel upgrade to 100 or 200 amps is often the first project.
We also handle GFCI and safety upgrades for older kitchens and baths, plus dedicated circuits for a well pump or a workshop. Every quote is written before we start.
Landisburg Borough issues permits under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code, and like most boroughs in the county, it relies on a third-party agency for plan review and inspection. We handle that from end to end: filing the permit, booking the inspection and walking the inspector through the finished job.
PPL Electric Utilities serves most of Landisburg, and Met-Ed / Penelec covers other pockets of Perry County. Service upgrades and new meters go through whichever one bills you, and we schedule that disconnect and reconnect. A downed line outside is the utility's repair. A tripped breaker or a dead outlet inside is ours, any hour.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
