Aluminum branch wiring doesn't fail on a schedule. It tends to loosen at the connection points over years of heating and cooling, which is why a warm cover plate or a flickering light is worth a look rather than a shrug. We correct those connections with approved connectors, or rewire the circuit where that makes more sense.
A recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panel is a different kind of risk, since a breaker that should trip sometimes doesn't. If your panel carries either name, circuit breaker repair and upgrades replaces it, and a home EV charger is an easy add while the panel is already open.
