The Thomas Edison difference
Wiconisco electricians from Thomas Edison Electric cover the whole township, not just the center of town. Wiconisco Township sits in Dauphin County, ZIP 17097, right against Lykens, just 0.7 miles over, and close to Gratz and Williamstown too.
Each electrician is a direct Thomas Edison Electric employee, never a subcontractor, with a fully stocked van kept at home. We hold PA075449 and full insurance, answering calls 24/7, 365 days a year. Every price is written down first. Call 717-274-2700 whenever you need us.
Wiconisco Township gets the same crews and same coverage as any borough we serve nearby.
We cover that stretch daily, along with Gratz and Williamstown close behind.
Knob-and-tube, fuse boxes and 60-amp service are common finds here, and we bring all of it up to code.
No subcontractors, ever. Vans are stocked and parked at home, ready to roll.
Call any hour. If we're running late, the dispatch fee is waived.
Over 37,000 jobs completed since 2021, with financing available.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Most homes in Wiconisco Township date to 1938. Knob-and-tube remnants, a fuse box, 60-amp service or an outlet with no ground are all common finds, and every one of them is fixable.
Most of what we do here is routine: a flickering light, a switch that stopped working, an outlet that runs warm. We carry the parts to fix that on the first visit. For anything larger, circuit breaker upgrades and ceiling fan installs are priced in writing before we touch a tool.
Wiconisco Township issues electrical permits under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code, and like most townships in the county, it contracts inspections out to a third-party agency instead of staffing its own building department. We pull the permit and book the inspection as part of the job, with the fee already in your written quote.
PPL Electric Utilities is the main utility here, and Met-Ed serves parts of the wider region. Any service change or new meter needs coordination with the right one, and we handle that before scheduling your visit. If the power is out up and down the street, call the utility first. If it's isolated to your home, call us.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Absolutely thrilled with our electrician Dennis! He was very knowledgeable and polite. Made this process very easy and stress free. We had two light fixtures put in along with an exhaust fan, cleaned up after and everything. Highly recommend this company and their electrician!

Jimmy made the service call easy. After describing our issue, 2 min max, he already knew what was wrong. He quickly identified, found, and fixed the offending GFI. After years of using Thomas Edison Electric we always refer them to friends and family.

Had a great experience with Michael Van for my initial inspection/walk-through and Steve P and the crew with the install. All of them, including the employees on the phone, were polite and prompt, and I'm very satisfied with my new electrical panel and wiring.
