The Thomas Edison difference
Need a Pillow electrician? Thomas Edison Electric covers this corner of Dauphin County same as anywhere else, ZIP 17080 included. Just 264 people call Pillow home, with Berrysburg 2.7 miles off and Gratz a bit further.
Every job here gets a direct employee, not a subcontractor, who drives a fully stocked TEE van from home. We're licensed under PA075449 and insured, answering 24/7, 365 days a year. Call 570-648-8800 any time, with a written price before work starts.
Built around 1938, most homes here still have some knob-and-tube, a fuse box or 60-amp service, and we update all three.
Same crew, same coverage, whether you're in Pillow or just outside it.
Every electrician drives a stocked TEE van from their own home, never a rented crew.
No guessing what a repair costs before we start.
24/7, 365 days a year, with the dispatch fee waived if we're late.
Over 37,000 jobs completed since 2021, and financing available if you ask.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Homes in and around Pillow tend to date back to 1938, and knob-and-tube remnants, fuse boxes, 60-amp service or an ungrounded outlet are all still around. That's typical for a town this size, not a warning sign by itself.
Small jobs make up most of our week here: a dead outlet, a breaker that won't hold, a ceiling fan installed the wrong way. When it's bigger, we handle full panel upgrades and backup generators too, both priced in writing before we start.
Electrical permits in Pillow go through the borough under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code, and the borough typically hands inspections to a third-party agency rather than running its own department. We take care of pulling the permit and booking the inspector, all folded into your written quote ahead of time.
PPL Electric Utilities supplies most of the power here, with Met-Ed covering other pockets of the wider area. Any service upgrade or new meter socket needs sign-off from whichever utility serves your line, and we make that arrangement before the crew arrives. A neighborhood-wide outage is the utility's repair. Anything from the meter inward is ours, day or night.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Absolutely thrilled with our electrician Dennis! He was very knowledgeable and polite. Made this process very easy and stress free. We had two light fixtures put in along with an exhaust fan, cleaned up after and everything. Highly recommend this company and their electrician!

Had a great experience with Michael Van for my initial inspection/walk-through and Steve P and the crew with the install. All of them, including the employees on the phone, were polite and prompt, and I'm very satisfied with my new electrical panel and wiring.
