The Thomas Edison difference
Harford's population is small, just 115 by the latest count, but a Harford electrician from Thomas Edison Electric treats every call here the same as a bigger town's. Harford, ZIP 18823, is a census-designated place bordering Gibson and Jackson, inside Susquehanna County.
Every electrician we send is a direct employee, never a subcontractor, and works out of a fully stocked TEE van. We carry PA075449 and full insurance, and the phone is covered 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Call 215-227-7000 for a written quote first.
Aluminum wiring and 100-amp panels are typical, and routine work for our crews.
Harford gets the same licensed electrician and stocked van as any larger town.
We correct what an inspector flags and explain what changed.
Every call goes to a direct Thomas Edison Electric employee.
The total is set and approved before any work begins.
PA075449, insured, and answering the phone every night, weekend and holiday.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Harford's median home dates to 1979, the same aluminum-wiring era common across Susquehanna County. Branch circuits worth checking, 100-amp panels running near capacity, and two-prong outlets are typical finds here, along with the occasional recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panel.
A small population does not mean small jobs only. We run new dedicated circuits for wells, workshops and outbuildings, and we fix code violations turned up by an inspector or a home sale. Every job, large or small, gets the same written price up front.
Small municipalities like Harford still follow the same rulebook as the rest of Pennsylvania: an electrical permit under the state's Uniform Construction Code, reviewed by a third-party agency instead of a township building department. We file the permit and coordinate that inspection so nothing gets missed.
PPL Electric Utilities is the main provider around Harford, with Claverack Rural Electric Cooperative serving other stretches of Susquehanna County. A service upgrade requires a scheduled disconnect and reconnect at the meter, and we handle that call directly with your utility.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
