The Thomas Edison difference
Looking for a Jackson electrician? Thomas Edison Electric covers Jackson Township, ZIP 18825, part of Susquehanna County, near Gibson, Harford and Thompson. Jackson's homes date mostly to 1981, so copper branch wiring is the norm here, not aluminum.
That newer stock brings a different issue. A 100 or 150-amp panel sized for 1981 fills up fast once a heat pump, hot tub or EV charger joins the load. Our electricians dispatch from their own homes in fully stocked TEE vans. Call 215-227-7000 any hour.
A panel sized for that era runs out of room once a heat pump, hot tub or EV charger joins the load.
Jackson largely skipped the aluminum years, so most calls here are about capacity, not corroded connections.
Our electricians live in the area and drive fully stocked TEE vans from home.
You see the price before work begins, panel swap or full upgrade.
24/7, 365 days a year, including the day a panel finally gives out.
Over 37,000 jobs completed since 2021, PA license PA075449, and 4.8 stars on Google.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Panel capacity is the recurring theme here. A 200-amp panel upgrade is the most common fix once a homeowner wants a heat pump or EV charger added to a panel built for a smaller 1981 household. A dedicated circuit for a hot tub or workshop is next most common.
Every electrician is a direct employee. The same crew that covers Jackson also reaches Gibson, 2.7 miles off, and South Gibson, 5.5 miles the other direction, with the same written quote before work starts.
Jackson Township permits fall under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code. The township doesn't run its own building department, so a contracted inspection agency handles plan review and sign-off, the same setup used across most of Susquehanna County. We pull the permit and schedule that inspection as part of the job.
PPL Electric Utilities keeps the lines on around Jackson, with Claverack Rural Electric Cooperative and Penelec covering other pockets of the county. A service upgrade needs a coordinated disconnect and reconnect at the meter, and we make that call. Once power is back on, everything from the meter inward is ours.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
