The Thomas Edison difference
Herrick Center is small enough to skip the census, but not too small for a dedicated Herrick Center electrician from Thomas Edison Electric. It sits 1.8 miles from Union Dale, ZIP 18430, with Clifford and Forest City close by, inside Susquehanna County.
We are family-owned, and every electrician here is a direct hire, dispatching from home in a fully stocked TEE van rather than commuting in from a shop. PA075449 and full insurance cover the work, any hour, any day of the year. Call 215-227-7000 for a written quote first.
Union Dale, Clifford and Forest City are all close by, and so are we.
Susquehanna County's winter outages make backup power one of our most requested jobs.
No subcontractors here, just Thomas Edison Electric crews in fully stocked vans.
Our vans carry the parts for routine calls, so most jobs finish the same day.
You approve the total before any work begins, always.
The phone gets answered nights, weekends and holidays, no exceptions.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Herrick Center has no census listing of its own, but across Susquehanna County, homes from this era often still carry aluminum branch wiring, 100-amp panels, two-prong outlets, and sometimes a recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panel. We check the panel brand first on every visit here.
Outages hit this part of the county hard in winter storms, so a standby generator with an automatic transfer switch is one of our most requested jobs. For the routine stuff, a dead outlet or a breaker that keeps tripping, a 24-hour electrician is one call away.
This part of Susquehanna County follows the state's standard process for electrical permits, the Uniform Construction Code, administered locally through a third-party inspection agency rather than a township building department. We file the paperwork and schedule that inspector as part of the job, not as an extra step for you.
PPL Electric Utilities serves this area, with Claverack Rural Electric Cooperative and Met-Ed covering other nearby pockets of the county. A service upgrade needs a coordinated disconnect and reconnect at the meter, which we schedule with your utility. Storm damage to the lines is the utility's repair; a damaged mast or wet panel on your house is ours.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
