Two-prong outlets and aluminum branch wiring are common finds in this stretch of Lycoming County, and a recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panel is not unusual either. A standby generator is a common request out this way, so a downed line does not mean a dark house.
PPL Electric Utilities and several rural cooperatives cover different parts of the area, with Met-Ed serving other pockets of the county. Whichever one sends your bill, we schedule the meter work directly with them. From the meter into the house, day or night, the work is ours.
Electrical permits fall under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code, and the township typically contracts a third-party agency to inspect the work rather than staffing its own department. We handle the filing and the inspection from start to finish.
PPL Electric Utilities covers part of the Jersey Mills area, with Met-Ed and rural cooperatives serving the rest. A downed line or outage is the utility's to fix. From the meter in, the work is ours.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
