The Thomas Edison difference
A Cedar Run electrician from Thomas Edison Electric covers ZIP 17727, one of the more spread-out corners of Lycoming County. Slate Run is 4.6 miles off and Cammal 8.3, while Cogan Station sits 21.5 miles away and Trout Run 22.3. Distance does not change how we work. Our electricians live in the area and leave for calls from their own homes in fully stocked TEE vans.
We are family-owned, multigenerational and licensed under PA075449, fully insured. Every quote is written before work starts, and if we are late, we waive the dispatch fee. Call 570-648-8800 any hour, any day.
Electricians live around Lycoming County and reach Cedar Run from their own homes, not a distant yard.
Federal Pacific and Zinsco brands, plus aging aluminum wiring, are familiar calls for our crews.
A standby generator keeps a well pump and furnace running through a long outage.
PPL, Claverack, Tri-County or Sullivan County REC, we coordinate the details.
365 days a year, holidays included, someone always picks up.
PA075449 license, full insurance, and a 4.8-star average on Google.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Out here, a lost line can mean a lost well pump, so we plan for it. On the wiring side, aluminum branch circuits and undersized 100-amp panels are typical for homes this age, along with the occasional recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco box. A standby generator with an automatic transfer switch is one of our more requested jobs out this way.
PPL Electric Utilities and several rural cooperatives, including Claverack, Tri-County and Sullivan County Rural Electric, cover different parts of this stretch of the county. Tell us who bills you and we take it from there on the meter side. Past the meter, the panel and wiring are ours to fix, any hour.
Electrical permits here go through the township under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code, usually by way of a third-party inspection agency rather than an in-house building department. We take care of filing the permit and scheduling the inspection, so it is one less call for you to make.
PPL Electric Utilities covers part of this area, with Claverack, Tri-County and other rural cooperatives serving the rest. A downed line or outage is the utility's to fix. From the meter in, the work, including a generator hookup, is ours.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
