The Thomas Edison difference
Thomas Edison Electric's Trout Run electricians are our own hires, not subcontractors passing through the valley. They live across Lycoming County and keep their TEE vans stocked at home. Trout Run, ZIP 17771, is close to Cogan Station, 4.0 miles, Ralston, 9.8, and Williamsport not much beyond.
We hold PA license PA075449, carry full insurance, and take calls 24/7, 365 days a year, holidays included. Every price is written down before the work starts, and a late arrival waives the dispatch fee. Call 570-648-8800 day or night.
Trout Run gets the same licensed crew and stocked vans as anywhere else in the county.
Aluminum wiring and two-prong outlets are common finds, and we explain the fix plainly.
A dead switch or a tripping breaker usually wraps up in one visit.
Every electrician on a Trout Run job works directly for Thomas Edison Electric.
The price is on paper before we touch a wire.
PA075449, 4.8 stars on Google, and financing available on request.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
A lot of Lycoming County homes never got past 100 amps. Two-prong outlets, aluminum wiring on the branch circuits, and old Federal Pacific or Zinsco panels are the usual suspects when we open one up.
Most visits, though, are simpler: a switch that stopped working, a breaker that trips under load, a fixture that needs replacing. We handle those the same day when we can, and bigger jobs like a panel upgrade or a dedicated circuit for a workshop get a written quote before anything starts.
Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code sets the rules for electrical permits in Trout Run, and the township, like most in the county, hands inspections to an outside agency rather than running its own building department. We file the paperwork and schedule the visit.
PPL Electric Utilities delivers power through this stretch of the valley. For a service upgrade, we coordinate the meter disconnect and reconnect with PPL so it happens on schedule. What happens on the pole side is PPL's to fix. What happens past the meter is ours, day or night.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
