The Thomas Edison difference
A Ralston electrician from Thomas Edison Electric lives in the area and drives a fully stocked TEE van from home, not from a distant yard. Ralston, ZIP 17763, sits well up in Lycoming County, with Trout Run 9.8 miles away, Cogan Station 13.7 and Montoursville a bit further out.
We're licensed under PA075449, insured, and answer 24/7, 365 days a year, holidays included. Every job gets a written quote before we start, and if we're late, we waive the dispatch fee. Call 570-648-8800 when you need us.
Ralston gets the same licensed electricians and stocked vans as anywhere closer to town.
100-amp panels, two-prong outlets and recalled panels are familiar work, priced honestly.
A standby generator with a transfer switch is a common request out here, and we install and service them.
Every electrician on the job works for Thomas Edison Electric directly.
The price is on paper before any wire gets touched.
PA075449, 4.8 stars on Google, and financing if you need it.
We're dedicated to building lasting relationships with every client through exceptional service and guaranteed results.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
Across Lycoming County, homes from this era commonly still have aluminum branch wiring, 100-amp panels, two-prong outlets and the occasional recalled Federal Pacific or Zinsco panel. We check the panel first on every visit, out here just as much as in town.
Being off the beaten path doesn't change how we work. A panel upgrade, a dedicated circuit for a well pump or shop, or a standby generator for the next outage all get the same written quote and the same stocked van.
Like the rest of Lycoming County, Ralston permits electrical work under the state's Uniform Construction Code, with a third-party agency handling plan review and inspections instead of the township doing it alone. We take care of that paperwork and the inspection visit as part of the job.
PPL Electric Utilities is the electric utility for this part of the county. When a job needs a new meter or a service change, we're the ones who call PPL and set the date, not you. The lines and the pole stay PPL's responsibility. Once power crosses the meter, that's ours, any hour.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
