The Thomas Edison difference
Out here, a Slate Run electrician from Thomas Edison Electric is still just a phone call away. Our crews live across Lycoming County and dispatch from their own homes in fully stocked TEE vans, ZIP 17769 included. Cedar Run sits 4.6 miles off, Cammal 5.1 and Jersey Mills 9.3.
We carry PA license PA075449 and full insurance, and we answer 24/7, 365 days a year, holidays included. Every visit starts with a written quote, and a late arrival means we waive the dispatch fee. The number is 570-648-8800.
Slate Run gets the same licensed electricians and the same stocked vans as anywhere else we serve.
Aluminum branch wiring and two-prong outlets are familiar work for our crews.
We're a certified Generac dealer, ready to size and install a standby unit for the next outage.
Every electrician on the job works for Thomas Edison Electric directly, no middleman.
You approve the price before any work begins.
PA075449, 4.8 stars on Google, and financing available.

Transparent pricing means written quotes with no surprises.
The housing stock through this part of Lycoming County tends to run on 100-amp panels with aluminum wiring on the branch circuits, two-prong outlets, and sometimes a Federal Pacific or Zinsco panel that's overdue for retirement. We check for all of it before recommending anything.
A dead outlet or a tripping breaker gets the same attention as a full panel upgrade. For homes that lose power more often out this far, a standby generator with an automatic transfer switch is worth asking about, and we install and service them as a certified Generac dealer.
Electrical work in Slate Run is permitted under Pennsylvania's Uniform Construction Code. The township contracts that review out to a third-party inspection agency rather than keeping it in house, and we manage the process ourselves, filing the permit and booking the inspection.
The electric utility here is PPL Electric Utilities. Generators, service upgrades and meter swaps all need a disconnect and reconnect on PPL's end, and we're the ones who book it. A downed line is a PPL repair. Past the meter, everything electrical in the house is on us.
Our Pennsylvania and New Jersey experts are ready to resolve your electrical woes.

Mike from Thomas Edison Electric replaced our out-of-service-life whole-house surge protectors and repaired a lighting fixture for our deck. He did an excellent professional job. He didn't try to sell us things we didn't need. I highly recommend Mike.
